    Dear Silver Diner,

My wife and I have enjoyed the food at Silver Diner (Reston and Fair Oaks) for many years and for more than 700 visits. The innovative menu is impressive and the local flavor of your restaurants is great.
A few things I would suggest:
    1. Rather than home fries for breakfast offer hash browns. The former are so-so, and the latter would get us eating breakfast at Silver Diner more often.
    2. Your cooks do not know how to cook vegetables (perhaps to our liking.) The veggies that come with the meals are nearly always near being raw. Why not cook the veggies to a consistency where they are not raw-like? For example, The Outback restaurant does really good veggies.
    3. The tomato slices that are offered are just a couple of mm thick and often cost more to get more. Why not a bit thicker slices for such healthy food.

    Regards,
    Hermann and Dorothy Gerber

My wife and I had lunch here at the Silver Diner at the Baltimore Airport a week ago which we enjoyed immensly.
On our return flight we did not not hesitate to return to have an evening meal which we again felt we had a good food with pleasant staff who took good care of us.

We had an excellent dinner at the Silver Diner in Frederick, Maryland this past Tuesday. We took our 3 year old grandaughter and she had a great time because it was Tuesday “kids nite” but also because both she and my wife loved the Salmon. Waitress was great. All of the food was wonderful. Very well staffed. We are going back this evening – Thursday. Thank You!!!
